cee-lo green (ft. melanie fiona), fool for you, the lady killer
when i first heard this song i wasnt the biggest fan. admittedly, i have had a change of heart. cruising down the backstreets in lala land this song came on the radio and instantly i was chukin’ and jivin’ like it was nobodys business.
the funky beat takes me back to circa 1970s, in a great way. although im not the biggest fan of cee-los vocal abilities, he does his thing on this track. i personally get off to the way melanie brings her passion to the track. its remarkable how the two of them have come together with their independent talents to brew a track as fly as this. not all artists can synthesize their talents with others with such a smooth transition.
this song is a nice way to end the summer months as we transition into the fall. a wonderful way to reflect on the summer relationships that have emerged and grown into something more beautiful and potentially powerful.
im forreal feeling cee-lo and melanie on this track. i definitely thank them for the opportunity to reminisce.
